The Gong Show is a very informal format where everybody briefly presents their research or what they have recently worked on or some various ideas they have been thinking about.

The idea is to have everyone in the group presenting so to give people occasion to know each other and quickly get a broad idea of what the people in the theory group at SLAC are working on.
