EPP Theory seminar: Nonperturbative analytic structures in holographic light-front QCD - Guy F. de Teramond (Universidad de Costa Rica)

Abstract:

Recent developments based on superconformal quantum mechanics in light-front quantization and its holographic embedding on a higher dimensional gravity theory  have led to new analytic insights into the structure and dynamics of hadrons which are not obvious from the QCD Lagrangian, such as confinement, chiral symmetry breaking and the connection between mesons, baryons and tetraquarks. I will briefly review in this talk some of these new developments with emphasis on the extension of the holographic approach to describe the interrelation of hadron form factors and quark and gluon distributions with pre-QCD nonperturbative approaches such as Regge theory and generalized Veneziano amplitudes.
