EPP Theory Seminar: Pier Francesco Monni: Multiscale dynamics as a path to discovery at the LHC
In the coming decades, the Large Hadron Collider will keep exploring the energy frontier of particle physics to unveil some of the fundamental laws of nature. For this mission to be successful, the theoretical description of scattering reactions involving multiple scales must reach an unprecedented level of precision. In this context, I will consider my development of novel calculational techniques and theoretical advances that will allow for a deeper understanding of Quantum Chromodynamics at colliders. I will discuss the present and future impact of my work on new-physics searches and in the study of the fine details of the Higgs sector at the LHC.
