Calculations of axial vector form factors using lattice QCD and future prospects - Rajan Gupta (LANL)

Abstract:  I will provide a brief overview of how axial vector form factors are calculated using lattice QCD and explain the major issues limiting precision.  Results from different collaborations will be compared and a case made for an emerging consensus. Finally lattice QCD results will be compared to the recent extraction by the MINERvA collaboration and the phenomenological extraction from the old neutrino-deuterium bubble chamber data and prospects for improvements discussed.
